Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A view of the Schans along the Singelgracht, Amsterdam, by Jan de Beijer was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2018. The price achieved of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,727.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jan de Beijer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Amsterdam, The Nieuwe Kerk And The Back Of The Town Hall (Royal Palace) Seen From The Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal in July 2018 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 33,636.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A view of the Schans along the Singelgracht, Amsterdam, von Jan de Beijer kam im Juli 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.727,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan de Beijer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Amsterdam, The Nieuwe Kerk And The Back Of The Town Hall (Royal Palace) Seen From The Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal im Juli 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 33.636,60).
