Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life With Flowers by Jan Cybis was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2019. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,742.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Cybis - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Polish flower Still Life, which sold at auction in November 2018 for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,019.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still Life With Flowers von Jan Cybis kam im November 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.742,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Cybis mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Polish flower Still Life beobachtet, die im November 2018 für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.019,16) versteigert wurde.
