Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2006 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Selfportrait by Jan Cremer. The price achieved of EUR 2,400.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Cremer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sterrensneeuw in November 2005 with an auction result of EUR 54,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2006 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Selfportrait von Jan Cremer zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.400,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Cremer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sterrensneeuw im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 54.000,00.
