This artwork by Jan Cremer achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2018. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Hot Dog USA #8 sold for EUR 5,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Cremer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sterrensneeuw in November 2005 with an auction result of EUR 54,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jan Cremer erzielte im November 2018 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Hot Dog USA #8 für EUR 5.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Cremer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sterrensneeuw im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 54.000,00.
