Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Self-Portrait by Jan Cremer was sold in the Nineteen to Now auction at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2013. The auction ended at the price of EUR 2,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Cremer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sterrensneeuw in November 2005 with an auction result of EUR 54,000.00.
