In November 2005 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction TWENTIETH CENTURY ART INCLUDING BELGIAN ART, which included the work Japans tanktreffen by Jan Cremer. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 5,040.00 44% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Cremer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sterrensneeuw in November 2005 with an auction result of EUR 54,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 44 % übertroffen
Im November 2005 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY ART INCLUDING BELGIAN ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Japans tanktreffen von Jan Cremer zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 5.040,00 und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Cremer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sterrensneeuw im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 54.000,00.
