Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2001 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction TWENTIETH CENTURY ART INCLUDING BELGIAN ART, which included the work A Still Life With A Jug And Two Bottles by Jan Carbaat. The price achieved of NLG 4,700.00 (€ 2,259.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as NLG 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Jan Carbaat have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2000 the work A still life with a German jug and autumn leaves was auctioned for NLG 6,085.04 (€ 2,588.72).

Im Juni 2001 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY ART INCLUDING BELGIAN ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Still Life With A Jug And Two Bottles von Jan Carbaat zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von NLG 4.700,00 (€ 2.259,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit NLG 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden.
