Auction result well in line with expectations

Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Both achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An Italianate evening landscape with a muleteer and goatherds on a wooded path, a river and mountains beyond in July 2000 with an auction result of GBP 1,433,750.00 (€ 2,318,354.87).
