Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A still life with pears, flowers and a fan by Jan Bogaerts was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 4,375.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Jan Bogaerts have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A colourful summer bouquet in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 38,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A still life with pears, flowers and a fan von Jan Bogaerts wurde im November 2011 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 4.375,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan Bogaerts auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A colourful summer bouquet im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 38.400,00.
