It changed hands for a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 20,914.20) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jan Baptist Bosschaert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Pair Of Still Lifes Of Elaborate Sculpted Urns Decorated With Carnations, Parrot Tulips, Irises, Morning Glory And Other Flowers in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 84,500.00 (€ 107,725.56).
