In September last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Art, which included the work Nature Morte Aux Fruits Et Fleurs by Jan Baptist Bosschaert. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 20,992.00 75% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Jan Baptist Bosschaert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Pair Of Still Lifes Of Elaborate Sculpted Urns Decorated With Carnations, Parrot Tulips, Irises, Morning Glory And Other Flowers in April 2008 with an auction result of GBP 84,500.00 (€ 107,725.56).

Im September letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nature Morte Aux Fruits Et Fleurs von Jan Baptist Bosschaert zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 20.992,00 und damit 75% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan Baptist Bosschaert auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Pair Of Still Lifes Of Elaborate Sculpted Urns Decorated With Carnations, Parrot Tulips, Irises, Morning Glory And Other Flowers im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 84.500,00 (€ 107.725,56).
