Auction result well in line with expectations
The work An Italianate River Landscape With Herders On A Path With Their Flock And Donkeys, Classical Ruins On A Hilltop Beyond by Jan Asselijn was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2011. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,261.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Asselijn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Breach Of The Sint Anthonisdijk On The Night Of 5–6 March 1651 in December 2014 with an auction result of GBP 602,500.00 (€ 775,617.30).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit An Italianate River Landscape With Herders On A Path With Their Flock And Donkeys, Classical Ruins On A Hilltop Beyond von Jan Asselijn kam im April 2011 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion.
