Auction result misses estimated price range
In July this year a collector was able to acquire the work A military skirmish in a wooded landscape by Jan Asselijn for GBP 6,930.00 (€ 8,085.21). This price was achieved in the auction Old Masters Part II at Christies and was even below the estimate range of GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Asselijn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Breach Of The Sint Anthonisdijk On The Night Of 5–6 March 1651 in December 2014 with an auction result of GBP 602,500.00 (€ 775,617.30).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A military skirmish in a wooded landscape von Jan Asselijn für GBP 6.930,00 (€ 8.085,21) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Masters Part II bei Christies erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Asselijn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Breach Of The Sint Anthonisdijk On The Night Of 5–6 March 1651 im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 602.500,00 (€ 775.617,30).
