Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hooioppers by Jan Altink was auctioned at Sothebys in Amsterdam in December 2010. The price achieved of EUR 46,350.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Altink - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hooiers, which sold at auction in December 2006 for EUR 96,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Hooioppers von Jan Altink kam im Dezember 2010 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 46.350,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Altink mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hooiers beobachtet, die im Dezember 2006 für EUR 96.000,00 versteigert wurde.
