Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Portrait of a man smoking a pipe by Jan Altink was sold in the The former Kamerbeek Collection auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2017. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,250.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Altink achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hooiers in December 2006 with an auction result of EUR 96,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Portrait of a man smoking a pipe von Jan Altink wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion The former Kamerbeek Collection bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Altink erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hooiers im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 96.000,00.
