Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Seated Nude by Jan Altink was sold in the 19th Century Paintings & Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in December 2010. The price achieved of EUR 6,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Altink achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hooiers in December 2006 with an auction result of EUR 96,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Seated Nude von Jan Altink wurde im Dezember 2010 in der Auktion 19th Century Paintings & Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Altink erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hooiers im Dezember 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 96.000,00.
