Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Jamil Molaeb was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in October 2011. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,170.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jamil Molaeb - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Arab Village I, which sold at auction in October 2011 for GBP 22,500.00 (€ 26,039.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jamil Molaeb kam im Oktober 2011 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.170,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Jamil Molaeb mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Arab Village I beobachtet, die im Oktober 2011 für GBP 22.500,00 (€ 26.039,47) versteigert wurde.
