Auction result well in line with expectations
In February last year Bonhams in London held the auction Middle Eastern Art Online Sale, which included the work I love Beirut by Jamil Molaeb. The price achieved of GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,810.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jamil Molaeb have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Arab Village I in October 2011 with an auction result of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 26,039.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
