Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,083.75 (€ 1,272.42). Admittedly, works by Jamie Reid have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Learn from the past, Live in the present, Look to the future (Blue), 2011 in October last year with an auction result of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 11,882.89).

Die Arbeit God Save The Queen, 1997 von Jamie Reid kam im November 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.083,75 (€ 1.272,42) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jamie Reid auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Learn from the past, Live in the present, Look to the future (Blue), 2011 im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.200,00 (€ 11.882,89).
