Here, the upper estimate of GBP 600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 687.50 (€ 836.06). Admittedly, works by James Thomas Watts have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A wooded landscape in winter in March 2002 with an auction result of GBP 4,935.00 (€ 8,067.43).
