In the British Art on Paper including Victorian Watercolours from auction, the work An evening glow in the woods changed hands for GBP 956.00 (€ 1,422.81) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by James Thomas Watts have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A wooded landscape in winter in March 2002 with an auction result of GBP 4,935.00 (€ 8,067.43).
