The work Abstract by James Stroudley was sold in the 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in March 2004. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,792.50 (€ 2,683.21), 20% above the upper estimate. With this result, Abstract is even the most expensive work of art by James Stroudley that we have observed at auctions so far.
