The work A young lady in a green dress, seated in an interior, with ducks and guinea pigs by James Northcote was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2014. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,778.38). Admittedly, works by James Northcote have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of Admiral William Waldegrave, 1St Baron Radstock (1753-1825) in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 46,100.00 (€ 64,551.93).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.778,38) einen neuen Besitzer.
