It achieved a price of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 20,940.78), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by James Northcote - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of Admiral William Waldegrave, 1St Baron Radstock (1753-1825), which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 46,100.00 (€ 64,551.93).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 20.940,78) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%.
