Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Trees in landscape, Angus by James McIntosh Patrick was auctioned at Bonhams in Edinburgh in October last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,188.29) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James McIntosh Patrick achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Springtime In Perthshire in November 2015 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 53,413.18).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Trees in landscape, Angus von James McIntosh Patrick kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Edinburgh zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.020,00 (€ 1.188,29) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
