Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Lundie Brae, Angus by James McIntosh Patrick for GBP 11,875.00 (€ 14,594.76). This price was achieved in the auction British & Irish Art at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by James McIntosh Patrick - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Springtime In Perthshire, which sold at auction in November 2015 for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 53,413.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Lundie Brae, Angus von James McIntosh Patrick für GBP 11.875,00 (€ 14.594,76) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion British & Irish Art bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von James McIntosh Patrick mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Springtime In Perthshire beobachtet, die im November 2015 für GBP 37.500,00 (€ 53.413,18) versteigert wurde.
