Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2004 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art and Dogs, which included the work A gundog and a spaniel in a landscape by James Loder of Bath. The price achieved of GBP 3,585.00 (€ 5,335.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Other works by James Loder of Bath have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2007 the work British Preparing For The Hunt, A Dapple Grey And A Bay Hunter In A Stable was auctioned for USD 13,750.00 (€ 9,361.38).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.585,00 (€ 5.335,55) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben worden.
