In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work A chestnut hunter, two terriers and a hound in a stable sold for GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,191.74) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by James Loder of Bath - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work British Preparing For The Hunt, A Dapple Grey And A Bay Hunter In A Stable, which sold at auction in November 2007 for USD 13,750.00 (€ 9,361.38).
