Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Greenwich Hospital, London by James Holland was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2020. The price achieved of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,346.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Holland achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Colleoni Monument, Venice in June 2003 with an auction result of GBP 35,850.00 (€ 51,518.40).

Die Arbeit Greenwich Hospital, London von James Holland kam im Juli 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.346,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden.
