Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2005 Christies in London held the auction MARITIME PICTURES, which included the work A Flagship Announcing Her Arrival At The Anchorage by James Hardy. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 720.00 (€ 1,057.77), 20% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by James Hardy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A successful shoot in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,965.09).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion MARITIME PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Flagship Announcing Her Arrival At The Anchorage von James Hardy zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 720,00 (€ 1.057,77) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von James Hardy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A successful shoot im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.965,09).
