In October 2005 Christies in London held the auction The Scottish Sale at The Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh, which included the work Poppies in a white jug by James Fullarton. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,960.00 (€ 10,263.90), 16% above the upper estimate. Other works by James Fullarton have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 7,050.00 (€ 11,218.77) in November 2001 for the work Still life on white cloth.

Im Oktober 2005 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Scottish Sale at The Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh durch, in der auch die Arbeit Poppies in a white jug von James Fullarton zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 6.960,00 (€ 10.263,90) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
