This artwork by James Fitton achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in December 2004. In the 20th Century British Art auction, the work Lady in an interior sold for GBP 7,170.00 (€ 10,147.53) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by James Fitton; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot London Market sold at auction in March 2021 with the realized price of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,481.64).

Dieses Kunstwerk von James Fitton erzielte im Dezember 2004 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis.
