Auction result well in line with expectations
The work High Park by James Edward Hervey MacDonald was sold in the Important Canadian Art auction at Sothebys in Toronto in May 2012. The price achieved of CAD 4,800.00 (€ 3,751.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CAD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Edward Hervey MacDonald achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wind Clouds in November 2010 with an auction result of CAD 589,000.00 (€ 440,078.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit High Park von James Edward Hervey MacDonald wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion Important Canadian Art bei Sothebys in Toronto versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CAD 4.800,00 (€ 3.751,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CAD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden.
