The auction ended at the price of CAD 60,000.00 (€ 43,725.56), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of CAD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Edward Hervey MacDonald achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Wind Clouds in November 2010 with an auction result of CAD 589,000.00 (€ 440,078.24).
