It achieved a price of CAD 209,500.00 (€ 160,700.19), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by James Edward Hervey MacDonald - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Wind Clouds, which sold at auction in November 2010 for CAD 589,000.00 (€ 440,078.24).
