Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 20,914.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by James Collinson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Writing Lesson in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 79,250.00 (€ 95,819.21).
