In January 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Outsider and Vernacular Art, which included the work Untitled Construction (Large Blue Jacket) by James Castle. The »bidding war« ended at USD 47,500.00 (€ 41,470.23), 19% above the upper estimate. With this result, Untitled Construction (Large Blue Jacket) is even the most expensive work of art by James Castle that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Januar 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Outsider and Vernacular Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled Construction (Large Blue Jacket) von James Castle zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 41.470,23) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
