This work without title by James Brooks was auctioned at Christies in New York in March 2018. The result of USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,435.06) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Brooks achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work M-51 in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 187,500.00 (€ 165,592.16).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.435,06) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von James Brooks erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit M-51 im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 187.500,00 (€ 165.592,16).
