The »bidding war« ended at EUR 39,600.00 32% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jakob Philipp Hackert achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Port of Salerno from Vietri, with herdsmen and other figures in the foreground, with the Castello di Arechi beyond and shipping vessels in the bay in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 338,500.00 (€ 479,879.31).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 32 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Schwedische Flusslandschaft. von Jakob Philipp Hackert wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Art bei VAN HAM versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 39.600,00 und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jakob Philipp Hackert erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Port of Salerno from Vietri, with herdsmen and other figures in the foreground, with the Castello di Arechi beyond and shipping vessels in the bay im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 338.500,00 (€ 479.879,31).
