Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of EUR 9,900.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jakob Philipp Hackert achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Port of Salerno from Vietri, with herdsmen and other figures in the foreground, with the Castello di Arechi beyond and shipping vessels in the bay in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 338,500.00 (€ 479,879.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Felsige Waldlandschaft mit einem See. von Jakob Philipp Hackert kam im November letzten Jahres bei VAN HAM zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 9.900,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden.
