It achieved a price of GBP 51,650.00 (€ 65,621.91), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 72%. Admittedly, works by Jacob Marrel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blumenstilleben in einer Terracotta-Vase auf einem Sockel. 1640. in September 2010 with an auction result of CHF 491,500.00 (€ 368,417.21).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 51.650,00 (€ 65.621,91) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 72%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jacob Marrel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blumenstilleben in einer Terracotta-Vase auf einem Sockel. 1640. im September 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 491.500,00 (€ 368.417,21).
