In April 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction The Weldon Collection, which included the work Still Life Of Flowers In A Niche With Cherries, Insects And A Caterpillar by Jacob Marrel. Here, the upper estimate of USD 300,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 334,000.00 (€ 299,229.53). Other works by Jacob Marrel have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of CHF 491,500.00 (€ 368,417.21) in September 2010 for the work Blumenstilleben in einer Terracotta-Vase auf einem Sockel. 1640..

Im April 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion The Weldon Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life Of Flowers In A Niche With Cherries, Insects And A Caterpillar von Jacob Marrel zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 300.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 334.000,00 (€ 299.229,53) einen neuen Besitzer.
