Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Still Life With Red, Black And Green Grapes On The Vine, Together With Oranges, A Partly-Peeled Lemon And A Melon On A Draped Table-Top by Jacob Marrel for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,115.73). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master & Early British Paintings at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacob Marrel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blumenstilleben in einer Terracotta-Vase auf einem Sockel. 1640. in September 2010 with an auction result of CHF 491,500.00 (€ 368,417.21).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still Life With Red, Black And Green Grapes On The Vine, Together With Oranges, A Partly-Peeled Lemon And A Melon On A Draped Table-Top von Jacob Marrel für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.115,73) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master & Early British Paintings bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacob Marrel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blumenstilleben in einer Terracotta-Vase auf einem Sockel. 1640. im September 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 491.500,00 (€ 368.417,21).
