Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 90,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 100,000.00 (€ 85,338.80). Admittedly, works by Jagdish Swaminathan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Bird, Tree and Mountain Series) in September last year with an auction result of USD 819,000.00 (€ 837,166.51).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Bird, Tree and Mountain Series) von Jagdish Swaminathan wurde im September 2020 in der Auktion A Lasting Engagement: The Jane and Kito de Boer Collection bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 90.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 100.000,00 (€ 85.338,80) einen neuen Besitzer.
