Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Bird, Tree and Mountain Series) by Jagdish Swaminathan was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 70,000.00 – 90,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 75,000.00 (€ 63,699.68) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jagdish Swaminathan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Bird, Tree and Mountain Series) in September last year with an auction result of USD 819,000.00 (€ 837,166.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Bird, Tree and Mountain Series) von Jagdish Swaminathan kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 70.000,00 – 90.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 63.699,68) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
