Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2019 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Art, which included the work La Vierge À L'Enfant by Jacques Stella. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,900.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacques Stella achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Charity in January 2016 with an auction result of USD 150,000.00 (€ 138,478.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2019 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Vierge À L'Enfant von Jacques Stella zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.900,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacques Stella erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Charity im Januar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 150.000,00 (€ 138.478,58).
