Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year Artcurial held the auction Prints & Multiples Online, which included the work Les Pléiades Dans La Constellation De Taurus (Ciel N°7) - Circa 1990 by Jacques Monory. It changed hands for a price of EUR 197.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 150.00 – 200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacques Monory achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dimanche Matin (N°247 Bis), 1966 in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 92,940.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Prints & Multiples Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Les Pléiades Dans La Constellation De Taurus (Ciel N°7) - Circa 1990 von Jacques Monory zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 197,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 150,00 – 200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacques Monory erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dimanche Matin (N°247 Bis), 1966 im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 92.940,00.
