Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September this year Bonhams in New York held the auction Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner, which included the work La Foire d'Impruneta, First Plate by Jacques Callot. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,280.00 (€ 1,209.37). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacques Callot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Fair At Gondreville, Or Mayday Celebrations At Xeuilley in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 288,000.00 (€ 427,746.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Prints & Photographs | Bonhams Skinner durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Foire d'Impruneta, First Plate von Jacques Callot zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.280,00 (€ 1.209,37) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacques Callot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Fair At Gondreville, Or Mayday Celebrations At Xeuilley im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 288.000,00 (€ 427.746,48).
