The auction ended at the price of EUR 15,000.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacques Blanchard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work L'Annonciation, which sold at auction in June 2007 for EUR 48,000.00.
