Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jacques Blanchard could be acquired at Sothebys in Paris in June 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Tableaux, Sculptures et Dessins Anciens et du XIXe siècle auction, the work Madonna With Child changed hands for EUR 21,250.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jacques Blanchard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work L'Annonciation, which sold at auction in June 2007 for EUR 48,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jacques Blanchard konnte im Juni 2017 bei Sothebys in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Tableaux, Sculptures et Dessins Anciens et du XIXe siècle wechselte die Arbeit Madonna With Child für EUR 21.250,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jacques Blanchard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit L'Annonciation beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für EUR 48.000,00 versteigert wurde.
